Mr. Zoller founded Sixpoint Partners in 2007 as a specialist advisor focused on the private equity and alternative asset industry. Since then, Sixpoint has grown into one of leading advisory boutiques with an exclusive focus on the middle-market and a twin focus on delivering independent advice and exceptional execution. Mr. Zoller has represented clients in a variety of geographies and sectors including technology, industrial, distribution, healthcare, business services, consumer, aerospace and defense, tech-enabled services, mineral rights among others.
At Sixpoint, Mr. Zoller is responsible for helping to set the overall strategic direction of the company. He has ultimate responsibility for global distribution, secondaries, co-heads the firm’s fund origination effort and manages select private fundraising mandates. He is also involved in all major operating, management, fund origination and investment decisions of the company.
Mr. Zoller received his undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania and later his law degree from The Law School at the University of Pennsylvania. He began his professional career working first at White & Case, in the mergers and acquisitions department. He later joined Merrill Lynch & Co. in New York in both the Public Finance and later the Infrastructure Finance group, where he had senior relationship management responsibilities. Mr. Zoller is an active member of YPO (Young Presidents’ Organization) and a frequent panelist and lecturer on the private equity industry. He has guest lectured at the Wharton School MBA Program at the University of Pennsylvania on private equity fundraising. Eric is also involved in a number of philanthropic organizations. He is a General Securities Representative (Series 7, 63, 79) and a General Securities Principal (Series 24), registered with FINRA.
Mr. Smith is a partner at Sixpoint Partners with a focus on our funds placement practice. He serves as head of project management and due diligence and co-heads the firm’s origination efforts. He is responsible for setting and executing the operating strategy, managing the due diligence process and integrating the sales strategy with project management. Mr. Smith has been in the financial services industry since 1985, covering both corporate and institutional investors. Before joining Sixpoint Partners, he was the Managing Director responsible for structured equity solutions for all of HSBC’s corporate clients throughout the Americas. Prior to HSBC, he worked with Bank One, Bear Stearns, a subsidiary of Lazard, and also spent nine years overseas with Bankers Trust in both Asia and Europe. Mr. Smith also co-founded and sold one of Japan’s largest manufacturers of frozen specialty bread products. He is a graduate of Yale University, Summa Cum Laude, with a degree in Philosophy. Mr. Smith is a General Securities Representative (Series 7, 63, 79) and a General Securities Principal (Series 24), registered with FINRA.
Mr. Thornton is a Partner focused on Sixpoint Partners’ fund placement practice. He serves as head of North American Distribution in addition to maintaining direct coverage responsibilities in the Midwest and Northeast regions. Mr. Thornton’s coverage includes public pension funds, insurance companies, family offices/endowments, fund of funds, and diversified institutional investors. Prior to joining Sixpoint, Mr. Thornton was a Director at Barclays Capital in the Institutional Client Group where he managed the middle market equity business for the Midwest region. Mr. Thornton also spent eight years at Lehman Brothers serving as a Senior Vice President in the Equities division covering more than 50 institutional accounts for general and diversified equity products. Mr. Thornton graduated from Denison University with a BS in economics and received a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. He is a General Securities Supervisor (Series 7, 9, 10 and 63), registered with FINRA.
Mr. Farina heads Sixpoint’s San Francisco office and has overall responsibility for West Coast distribution and Texas. Prior to joining Sixpoint, Mr. Farina was a Vice President in the M&A advisory group at Evercore Partners. Prior to a career in finance, Mr. Farina was a Captain in the United States Air Force where he was a computer security specialist for the Defense Intelligence Agency within the U.S. Intelligence Community. He earned an MBA from Columbia Business School, a Master of Science degree in Information Security from Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Management from the U.S. Air Force Academy. He is a General Securities Representative (Series 7, Series 63) and a General Securities Principal (Series 24), registered with FINRA.
Mr. Schestag is a Partner at Sixpoint Partners, responsible for leading the firm’s Secondary Advisory business. He has 14 years of investment banking experience, focused on the private equity industry. Prior to joining Sixpoint, Mr. Schestag spent seven years with the Private Fund Group at Credit Suisse, where he was a senior member in the Secondary Advisory practice. During his tenure in the Private Fund Group, he executed a broad range of secondary transactions on behalf of institutional investors and private investment firms. Mr. Schestag began his investment banking career in Credit Suisse’s Financial Sponsors Group, executing debt and equity financings and financial advisory assignments on behalf of large cap and middle market private equity firms. Mr. Schestag earned a B.A. in History from Reed College and an M.B.A. from Cornell University.
Mr. Gulotta is a Partner focused on Sixpoint’s Secondary Advisory business, as well as the firm’s broader origination activities. He sources and advises clients on structuring, marketing and negotiating secondary transactions. In addition, he maintains relationships with secondary investors on behalf of the firm. Prior to joining Sixpoint in 2009, Mr. Gulotta was an Analyst at J.P. Morgan in the Energy & Environmental Group within Public Finance, where he helped originate and structure bond offerings for utilities, independent power producers, and water and wastewater systems. Mr. Gulotta received an MBA from Columbia Business School with Dean’s Honors and Distinction and a Bachelor of Arts from Washington & Lee University, where he graduated summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa. He is a General Securities Representative (Series 7, 63, 79), registered with FINRA.
Mr. Schmalhofer is Chief Financial Officer at Sixpoint Partners. He is responsible for financial planning and analysis, accounting and reporting. Mr. Schmalhofer also focuses on fund due diligence. Mr. Schmalhofer joined Sixpoint from Australia and New Zealand Banking Group Limited (ANZ) where he served as Chief Financial Officer for the bank’s operations in the Europe and America region. In this capacity, he and his team provided insight and analytics relating to ANZ’s business with multi-national corporates and financial institutions headquartered in Europe and America. In addition, he was responsible for the integrity and efficient delivery of financial information emanating from the business booked in the region. Prior to ANZ, Mr. Schmalhofer held a number of senior finance and management roles in the U.S. offices of large European based institutional banks. He started his career with KPMG in Germany. Mr. Schmalhofer earned a Graduate Degree of Business Administration from Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich, Germany, and a MBA from Columbia Business School. He is a Financial and Operations Principal (Series 27) registered with FINRA. Mr. Schmalhofer is bilingual in German.
Ms. Hogan is a Managing Director on Sixpoint’s primary fund placement team, where she focuses on project management, origination and due diligence. Prior to joining Sixpoint Partners, Ms. Hogan was a member of the Merchant Banking and Leveraged Finance team at BNP Paribas where she executed debt financings for leveraged buyouts, recapitalizations and refinancings for middle market financial sponsor-backed transactions in North America across the retail, industrial, aerospace & defense, oil & gas, healthcare and TMT industries. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Duke University. Ms. Hogan is a General Securities Representative (Series 7, Series 63), registered with FINRA
Mr. Martín-Chocano focuses on European distribution in both the primary and secondary markets. Prior to joining Sixpoint, Mr. Martín-Chocano worked at Citigroup in the Global Structured Solutions group where he executed debt private placement transactions globally across the consumer, real estate, healthcare and energy industries. Mr. Martín-Chocano also has experience in Project & Infrastructure finance transactions. He graduated from Boston College with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management, concentrating in Finance and Marketing. He is a General Securities Representative (Series 7, Series 63, Series 79), registered with FINRA. Mr. Martín-Chocano is bilingual in Spanish.
Mr. Siegel is a Managing Director focused on Sixpoint’s Secondary and Co-investment Advisory business. He sources and advises clients on limited partner and general partner led liquidity events, and raises co-investment equity financing for independent and funded sponsors. Prior to joining Sixpoint, Mr. Siegel was a member of the Merchant Banking Division at Opus Bank where he invested in private equity transactions and provided capital raising advisory services to middle-market companies. Before Opus, he worked for Spectrum Group Management investing in private and public credit opportunities across the capital structure. Mr. Siegel began his career with Strategic Partners, formerly the secondary private equity team at Credit Suisse, and then moved to the Restructuring Investment Banking Division at Rothschild. He received a B.B.A. from the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business and an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School.
Ms. Breslawski is a Director at Sixpoint Partners, focused on the Southeast. She has more than a decade of experience in alternative asset capital raising and marketing all across the US and abroad. Prior to joining Sixpoint, Ms. Breslawski spent seven years as Vice President at Phoenix Investment Adviser, a hedge fund with long/short, long only and private equity style drawdown products, where she focused on asset raising, marketing, business development and investor relations. Ms. Breslawski earned her MBA from the Stern School of Business (NYU) and a BA from the University of Virginia.
Ms. Klinedinst is a Director focused on project management and due diligence across the primary and secondary markets. Prior to joining Sixpoint, Ms. Klinedinst was an analyst with Piper Jaffray, where she executed mergers & acquisitions for middle-market financial sponsor-backed transactions in North America across the industrials & business services industries. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Washington and Lee University.
Mr. Lorusso is a Director on Sixpoint’s Capital Solutions team focused on secondary transactions, co-investments and advisory. Prior to joining Sixpoint, Mr. Lorusso was a member of the Investment Banking Division at Goldman Sachs where he advised on and executed IPOs and secondary equity capital raises for companies in the Natural Resources sector. Before Goldman Sachs, he worked in the debt origination group at Bank of America Merrill Lynch to structure and execute corporate bond offerings. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Finance & International Business from Villanova University. Mr. Lorusso holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA) designation and is a General Securities Representative (Series 7, Series 66), registered with FINRA.
Mr. Wallis is a Director on Sixpoint’s Capital Solutions team focused on secondary transactions, co-investments and advisory. Prior to joining Sixpoint, Mr. Wallis was a Vice President at Heritage Partners Group, a lower-middle market Private Equity fund. He was primarily involved in the evaluation and execution of new platform and bolt-on strategic acquisitions, minority investments and divestitures across multiple portfolio companies and industry verticals, including Consumer & Retail, Restaurants, Technology, and Real Estate. Before Heritage Partners Group, he served in various roles at TP ICAP where he worked on buy-side and sell-side M&A transactions in the technology and financial services sectors. He received a B.B.A. from the University of Texas McCombs School of Business and an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School.
Ms. O’Brien is a Vice President based in the UK office, focused on European distribution in both the primary and secondary markets. Prior to joining Sixpoint, Ms. O’Brien worked at Triago where she was primarily responsible for investor coverage across the UK, Nordics and Germany, as well as the origination and execution of primary mandates for Northern Europe. Ms. O’Brien also has experience in project management for primary mandates in the Americas where she began her career working for a boutique Boston-headquartered placement agent. She graduated from Trinity College Dublin with a B.A. in Political Science.
Mr. Brophy is a Vice President on Sixpoint’s primary fund placement team, where he focuses on fundraising execution, due diligence, and origination. Prior to joining Sixpoint, he worked at Briarcliffe Credit Partners where he was responsible for the origination and execution of primary fundraises within the specialized private credit space. Previously, Conner was an Associate at Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation where he worked in loan capital markets, originating, underwriting, and syndicating corporate debt facilities across a variety of credit profiles and industries. Earlier, he was an investment banking Associate at Commerzbank AG. He graduated from Gettysburg College with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. Mr. Brophy is an Investment Banking and General Securities Representative (Series 79, Series 7, Series 63), registered with FINRA.
Mr. Swicegood is the Controller at Sixpoint Partners, where he supports the CFO and is responsible for financial planning and analysis, accounting, and reporting. Prior to joining Sixpoint, he held similar roles in FPA and financial control at the Australia and New Zealand Banking Group Limited (ANZ) in NY and London. Mr. Swicegood holds an MBA from the University of Connecticut, an MM from Yale University, and a BS in Clinical Laboratory Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He is registered with FINRA (Series 27 and 99).
Mr. Schwartz is an Associate focused on project management and due diligence across Sixpoint’s Co-Investment and Secondary Advisory mandates. Prior to joining Sixpoint, Mr. Schwartz was an Investment Banking Analyst at BMO in the financial institutions group, where he focused on M&A and advisory, equity and debt capital markets, and various other structured finance solutions for domestic and multi-national middle-market corporations. He graduated with a BBA from the University of Wisconsin-Madison where he majored in Finance and Investment Banking. Mr. Schwartz is an Investment Banking Representative (Series 79, Series 63), registered with FINRA.
Mr. Crystal is a Senior Associate focused on project management and due diligence across the primary and secondary markets. Prior to joining Sixpoint, he worked at Pura Vida Investments, a healthcare-focused hedge fund, where he was a member of the business development and investor relations team. Before Pura Vida, he was an associate at Societe Generale, where he was on the FX Derivatives desk and Capital Introductions team. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Southern California, where he majored in Political Science. He was also a member and captain of the tennis team.
Ms. Solomon is an Associate focused on project management and due diligence across the primary and secondary markets. Prior to joining Sixpoint, Ms. Solomon was an Investment Banking Analyst at RBC Capital Markets covering Power, Utilities and Infrastructure. She graduated with a BBA from University of Massachusetts, Amherst, where she majored in Operations and Information Management. Mr. Tartaglia is an Associate focused on project management and due diligence across Sixpoint’s Co-Investment and Secondary Advisory mandates. Prior to joining Sixpoint, Mr. Tartaglia was an Analyst at a middle-market investment bank, where he focused on M&A and advisory services for consulting and IT services corporations. He earned a BBA from Baruch College, where he graduated summa cum laude with a major in Finance and Investments. Mr. Morrison is an Associate focused on project management and due diligence across Sixpoint’s Co-Investment and Secondary Advisory mandates. Prior to joining Sixpoint, Mr. Morrison was an Investment Banking Analyst at KeyBanc Capital Markets in the Industrial Group, where he focused on M&A advisory for Building Products and Paper & Packaging corporations. He graduated with a BS from Babson College where he concentrated in Computational and Mathematical Finance. Mr. Conzola is an Associate focused on project management and due diligence across the primary and secondary markets. Prior to joining Sixpoint, he worked at Staple Street Capital, a middle market operationally focused private equity firm, where he was a member of the origination and business development team. Before Staple Street, he was an analyst at SFW Capital Partners, a growth oriented private equity firm that invests in companies in the industrial and life sciences technology sector. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from Johns Hopkins University, where he majored in Economics.
Ms. Robles is an Analyst focused on project management and due diligence across the primary and secondary markets. Prior to joining Sixpoint, Ms. Robles was an Investment Banking Analyst at Bank of America Securities covering Real Estate, Gaming and Lodging. She graduated with a BBA from the University of Michigan, where she concentrated in Finance at the Ross School of Business. Ms. Robles is an Investment Banking Representative (Series 79, Series 63, Securities Industry Essentials) registered with FINRA.
Mr. DeLay is an Analyst focused on project management and due diligence across Sixpoint’s Co-Investment and Secondary Advisory mandates. Prior to joining Sixpoint, Mr. DeLay was a Senior Accountant at EY in the wealth and asset management group. He graduated with an MS in Accounting and a BBA in Accounting from Adelphi University. Mr. DeLay is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licensed in New York State.
Ms. Glover is an Analyst focused on project management and due diligence across the primary and secondary markets. She rejoined Sixpoint Partners after previously completing two summer internships with the firm. Ms. Glover graduated with a Bachelor of Science from Pennsylvania State University, where she majored in Marketing at the Smeal College of Business.
Mr. Germinario is an Analyst focused on project management and due diligence across Sixpoint’s Co-Investment and Secondary Advisory mandates. Prior to joining Sixpoint, Mr. Germinario was a Senior Associate at PwC, where he focused on M&A advisory and transactional due diligence. He graduated with a B.S. from Elon University, where he majored in Finance and Accounting. Mr. Germinario is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licensed in New York State.
Lea Peragallo is the Office Manager and Head of Administration for Sixpoint Partners. Her responsibilities include accounting, billing, customer service, travel, human resources, technology, and compliance. Lea has over 20 years of accounting and travel experience.
Anna Cruz is the Executive Assistant to Founder and Partner, Eric Zoller. Ms. Cruz also focuses on roadshow coordination and travel arrangements. Prior to joining Sixpoint Partners, Ms. Cruz directly supported the North American CEO of Australia and New Zealand (ANZ) Banking Group. She has over 20 years of administrative experience in the financial industry.
